Job Title: AI Data Engineer
Location: Spring, TX (Onsite Local candidates only)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an AI Data Engineer with hands-on experience working with complex data environments. The ideal candidate will work across Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI to prepare data models, optimize transformations, and support AI/ML workflows. You will collaborate with data modelers and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines and integrate predictive insights into dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build & optimize data pipelines for AI/ML training and inference workflows
• Perform feature engineering and implement model monitoring processes
• Integrate AI/ML models and cognitive services into BI platforms (Power BI)
• Develop and enhance DBT models, including testing and data quality checks
• Design efficient semantic models and visualizations in Power BI
• Work with ADF for ingestion & EL workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly

Required Experience:

• Snowflake data warehousing & performance optimization
• DBT development & testing
• Power BI development with advanced DAX
• Azure Data Factory for ingestion pipelines
• Data modeling (Normalization, Star/Snowflake schema)
• Azure Cloud data and AI services
• SQL proficiency; Python/R for AI use cases (nice to have)

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• PL-300 / DP-203 / SnowPro Core or Advanced
• AI-102 or Azure AI Engineer certifications are a plus
