Job Details

Senior .NET Developer responsible for feature development, vulnerability remediation, and refactoring legacy applications for Azure, with preference for healthcare product/project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure .NET applications and APIs using C# and (Core).
  • Analyze security scan reports (SAST/DAST/OSS) and remediate vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, dependency risks, misconfigurations) within existing codebases.
  • Refactor and modernize legacy .NET applications, improving performance, security, and maintainability; contribute to modularization and cloud-readiness.
  • Implement and consume Azure services (App Service, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, App Configuration, Azure AD) following security and compliance best practices.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure secure SDLC, including code reviews, security testing, and CI/CD integration.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Experience in containerization
  • Experience in Micro services architecture & application refactoring.

Required qualifications

  • 6 9 years of hands-on experience with C#, / Core, Web API, and RESTful services.
  • Strong experience fixing security vulnerabilities (e.g., injection, XSS, broken auth, insecure deserialization, insecure configuration) and working with vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience refactoring and modernizing existing .NET applications (e.g., .NET Framework to .NET Core, monolith-to-modular patterns, performance tuning).
  • Practical experience deploying and supporting applications on Azure (App Service, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps pipelines, monitoring).
  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and encryption in .NET.

Preferred

  • Healthcare domain experience, especially with HIPAA-aligned solutions or FHIR/HL7-based integrations on Azure.
  • Experience with application monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor) and basic observability concepts.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and microservices patterns in Azure.
