With a decade of success in digital healthcare engagement, this company partners with major U.S. health plans to deliver virtual health solutions. They've built a strong foundation and are now entering a growth phase that will see them triple in size over the next 3 years.

The Opportunity
As the business scales, they're looking for a hands-on IT specialist who can design, secure and evolve their infrastructure into a modern, self-sufficient environment. You'll work closely with leadership and external partners - to shape IT strategy, strengthen cybersecurity and formalize governance frameworks across networking, cloud and end-user support.

This is an ideal role for someone comfortable spanning multiple domains - being the go to IT SME, with the ambition to build and eventually lead a growing IT function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure upgrades across a hybrid workforce (on-site + remote).

  • Manage network setup and expansion - firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, UPS systems, and access control.

  • Support end-user technology provisioning and internal systems for onboarding/offboarding.

  • Oversee compliance and cybersecurity best practices (HIPAA, PII, risk management).

  • Coordinate cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Oversee internal tools - including CRM/telephony APIs (NICE) and integration with partner software.

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align IT strategy, licensing, and scalability planning.

  • Work toward leading future IT operations and potential team management expansion.

About You

  • 5-10+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, systems admin or network/security roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD, Power BI).

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi management and server maintenance.

  • Cloud experience with AWS.

  • Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare, regulated, or scaling SME environment would be highly beneficial.

  • Comfortable supporting a growing team with diverse device and software needs.

  • Bonus: Experience managing NICE systems or API integrations.

Why Join?

  • Competitive salary + performance bonus and potential equity.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage.

  • 401(k), life insurance, and short/long-term disability.

  • Unlimited PTO

  • High growth potential - progression to IT Director as the company scales.
