We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our state-of-the-art manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Applying statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
4. Designing, installing, or troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components.
5. Programming and integrating manufacturing machinery and equipment to increase production quality and efficiency.
6. Collaborating with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs.
7. Identifying opportunities or implementing changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.
8. Ensuring all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Strong knowledge of hydraulics and proven experience with hydraulic systems.
4. Proficiency in programming and integrating manufacturing machinery and equipment.
5. Demonstrated ability to design efficient manufacturing workflows and processes.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey complex manufacturing processes to a diverse group of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety regulations.
10. A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
