The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing complex IT projects, including systems integration during mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as well as the deployment of new site expansions. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating technical resources, and ensuring successful project delivery while minimizing business disruptions. You will report to the VP of Infrastructure and Operations as part of the CIO's org.

The impact you will have:
Project Planning and Execution:
  • You will develop and manage comprehensive project plans for IT systems integration initiatives during M&A activities and site expansions.
  • You will define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for both types of projects.
  • You will coordinate with various partners, including IT teams, teams, facilities, and external vendors, to ensure agreement and effective collaboration.
  • You will act as the primary point of contact, facilitating documentation, collaboration, reporting project status, risks, and issues, while managing partner expectations and ensuring agreement on objectives and timelines across executive management, teams, and facilities teams.
  • You will monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • You will manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness across all projects.
Technical Leadership:
  • You will provide technical guidance to teams involved in systems integration and site expansion projects.
  • You will collaborate with IT architects, engineers, and subject matter experts to design and implement integration solutions and site infrastructure.
  • You will oversee the deployment of cabling, audio-visual (AV) systems, network services, and other site-specific IT infrastructure.
  • You will ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and security protocols throughout all project phases.
  • You will manage third-party vendors and external resources involved in integration and site expansion activities.
  • You will ensure comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, user manuals, and site deployment guides are exemplary.

What we look for:
  • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on systems integration, site expansions and infrastructure deployments.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, system architectures, networking technologies, cabling standards, and AV systems. Familiarity with local building codes and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of M&A activities and experience working on large acquisitions.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc)
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of facility management and construction principles related to site expansions.
