PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Locations: Onsite at US TX Houston ELD 6390 N Eldridge Pkwy
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the layout and design of assigned tasks within designated projects.
- Actively seek guidance and collaborate with Valve and Manifold Engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit necessary calculations and documentation for checked and/or approved designs.
- Utilize SolidWorks, MathCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop precise engineering documents and drawings to facilitate unambiguous manufacturing and clearly present technical findings.
- Review, verify, and validate drawings and layouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned, adhering to NOV Company and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.
- Deliver a final presentation summarizing results and contributions at the conclusion of the employment term.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of, or exposure to, mechanical systems and pressure-controlling equipment.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and MathCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with an emphasis on data analysis; familiarity with additional analysis tools is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Open-minded, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Engineering program at an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
