Workday Systems Administrator Specialist (778239)

Job Description:
The North Carolina Office of State Human Resources (NCOSHR) is seeking an experienced Workday Systems Administrator to support the HCM Digital Transformation Project. The selected professional will collaborate with OSHR Leadership, the HCM PMO, and agency HR leaders to expand, enhance, and sustain the State s Workday HCM capabilities.
This role requires strong expertise in Workday configuration, integration, and business process design, along with experience in onboarding/offboarding and post go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategize and plan the expansion of Workday Onboarding/Offboarding for participating state agencies.
Collaborate with HR leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancement.
Document findings, assess strategies, and develop execution roadmaps.
Design, configure, test, and implement new Workday business processes.
Partner with technical leads to test and deploy integrations, including EIB integrations.
Support security administration, including group creation and access management.
Work with SMEs to develop, test, and validate new or modified business process designs.
Assist with post go-live support and sustainment of implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience expanding Workday onboarding/offboarding capabilities.
Proven ability to document findings, assess strategies, and develop roadmap recommendations.
Strong background in Workday configuration, testing, and implementation.
Experience collaborating with technical teams for integration testing and development.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, business process design, and post-implementation support.
