American Computer Services Inc. is hiring an Application Architect with extensive experience architecting, designing, developing, prototyping, and delivering secure enterprise solutions to meet business needs. You must have current hands-on full-stack .NET coding experience.

To be successful, you MUST have:

  • Experience leading Agile development teams through the SDLC.
  • Extensive understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks, databases, web applications, Azure, etc.
  • Experience creating and supporting new solutions that will:
    • Digitize business processes.
    • Reduce redundant work in business areas.
    • Enhance productivity, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Experience translating business-to-technology to identify ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud technologies and additional AWS experience.
  • Experience with clean architecture patterns.
  • Experience in DDD and TDD patterns.
  • Experience implementing SOLID principles.
  • Extensive experience with OpenText Content Management Suite, including Content Server, Brava!, and Enterprise Scan Manager.
  • Experience with Application Security principles and practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop prototypes.
  • Work with and develop microservices.
  • Write RESTful API s using .NET core 5+.
  • Set up the project structure and refactor the code for efficiency.
  • Build responsive designs using bootstrap/tailwind or similar CSS frameworks.
  • Complete database modeling and design.
  • Write LINQ queries.
  • Write SSIS packages and create reports utilizing SSRS.
  • Design and create new GitHub Actions and support CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests using MOQ or NUNIT frameworks.

Education:
