Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively communicate interaction behaviors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements using data-driven insights and user-centered design principles.
- Participate in usability testing and analyze performance metrics to optimize new and existing features.
- Present design concepts to teams and executives for feedback and refinement.
- Contribute to best practices and standards in user interface design and web application development.
- Lead initiatives in ecommerce trends and user interface innovations.
Skills
- Proven experience in interaction design solutions for web or software applications, with a minimum of 7 years in the industry.
- Educational background in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in web-based information architecture, usability principles, and design techniques.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for conveying complex design concepts.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with technical teams.
- Desire to prototype using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash.
