Primary Talent Partners has a 4 month contract opening for a Sr. IT Project Lead to join a multinational medical device company for a hybrid position operating out of the company site in either Northridge CA, Duluth GA, or Minneapolis MN.

Pay:

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr based on experience and academia
Contract: 4 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week in either Northridge CA, Duluth GA, or Minneapolis MN. Only considering candidates local to these three sites.

Summary:
This resource will act as the Sr. It Project Lead overseeing the diabetes DT Portfolio Management and Transformation. The project will focus on Marketing, Operations, and/or Quality functions of the business. Waterfall and agile is a big plus. There will be direct communication with executive team and you will support cross functional teams between function and technologies.

Top 3 Responsibilities for this role:

  1. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  2. Ensure execution stays on track through milestone tracking and proactive risk management.
  3. Stakeholder Communication & Alignment - Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business | Facilitate regular status updates and issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads one or more project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations.
  • Develops and manages all facets of the project(s) from intake through implementation and closure.
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of the outcomes derived through the change through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, risk management and issue resolution, planning and control, change management and quality management.
  • Ensures the project adheres to all Corporate and IT policies and standards.
  • Responsible for effectively managing the constraints of project management: Scope, Cost, Schedule.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance and recommendations to leadership governance bodies.
  • Keeps current on advances and best practices in project management methodologies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in an engineering or IT discipline.
  • 5-15 years of robust experience with cross functional team & programs, and experience managing a detailed budget.
  • Experience with Hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) project methodology.
  • Strong, clear communication.
  • Med tech background and regulated industry background.
  • Experience developing powerpoint presentations
  • Experience with Smartsheets
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Agile Certification
  • PMP
