Antenna Feed & Passive Microwave RF Engineer (Entry-Level, Associate & Experienced)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for an Associate Antenna Feed & Passive Microwave RF Engineer in El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position prefers the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. A final U.S. Top Secret/SCI and adjudicated polygraph is required Post Start.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and validates requirements for various antenna/array systems - communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components
- Performs various analyses to support customer/operational needs to define and coordinate antenna/array system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs analysis to predict component performance to established requirements
- Develops architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms
- Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements
- Conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements
- Manages appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements
- Plans and executes tests and verification plans for flight & non-flight hardware
- Reviews manufacturing plans, engages manufacturing floor
- Troubleshooting and non-conformance resolution, including root cause and corrective action engagement
- Writes appropriate sections of proposals to support development of new business

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Antenna/payload RF (radio frequency) experience
- Education/training or work experience with Antenna/payload design, characteristics, manufacturing and test
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Labview, MatLab, Phyton, any EM simulation tools (HFSS preferred), Test equipment (PNAs, VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, O-Scopes etc.)
- Near-Field measurements experience (vertical, horizontal, spherical ...)
- Anechoic chamber measurements
- Test hardware architecting, procurement and assembly (3D printing, basic PWB skills ...)
- Incubator lab experience
- AI tools usage and development (Machine learning, Neural Networks, AI agents ...)
