Cloud Architect
Job Description: Cloud Solution Architects provide business strategy, solution development and technical guidance to develop business and market solutions that align with cloud service offerings from the cloud service provider. Cloud Solution Architects specialize in application and software architecture.
Analyzes customer requirements and provides highly innovative technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques, technologies, and related cloud architectures.
Provides expert knowledge for the research, evaluation, and deployment of advanced cloud computing systems and large data analytics.
Provides expert knowledge for data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies.
Provides expert knowledge for the development of highly complex data technologies, algorithms, and applications.
Maintains current and advanced knowledge of progressive and advancing technology as assigned.
Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced cloud development personnel.
May serve as a task or project leader. (Not a people manager).
May consult with executives and customers to deliver complex cloud development solutions.
Recognized as a subject matter expert in cloud technology.
Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of 10 years IT experience of which 5 years must be in the Cloud environment. Experience includes solution development and application, software architecture and cloud solutions.
Certifications: DoDD 8570.01 IAT-II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE); Cloud Solutions Architect certification desired.
Clearance: Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
TESA eligibility/certification required.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics or business/finance

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
