Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Java Lead with strong expertise in AWS cloud services. In addition to core Java and AWS skills, the candidate should have secondary expertise in either MuleSoft or AWS Glue to support integration and data pipeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications.
- Architect and develop solutions leveraging AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, Glue, etc.).
- Design and implement integration workflows using MuleSoft or AWS Glue (candidate should have one of these skills).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 11+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudFormation).
- Secondary skill: MuleSoft OR AWS Glue (candidate must have at least one).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging systems.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or enterprise-scale projects.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts and big data tools.
