JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering
REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker
JOB LOCATION: 500 North Point Pkwy. Alpharetta, GA 30005
DUTIES: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers by providing technical guidance and support. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement. Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration. Define and drive the technical architecture and design of the AT&T Mobile App, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks to enhance the app's functionality, performance, and security. Ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software by implementing comprehensive testing strategies and addressing technical debt. Monitor and optimize the performance of the mobile app, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, DevOps, and QA, to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and dependencies. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app development. Drive innovation within the team by exploring new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve development processes and outcomes. Perform software development, with a focus on mobile app development for iOS and Android. Utilize mobile development frameworks such as Swift, Objective-C (iOS), Kotlin, Java (Android), and React Native. Utilize mobile app architectures, including MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture. Use RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries/integrations. Use automated testing frameworks and tools (XCTest, Espresso).
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation performing software development, with a focus on mobile app development for iOS and Android; utilizing mobile development frameworks such as Swift, Objective-C (iOS), Kotlin, Java (Android), and React Native; utilizing mobile app architectures, including MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture; using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries/integrations; and using automated testing frameworks and tools (XCTest, Espresso).
