PMP Certified Project Manager With Texas CAPPS project implementation Location: Huntsville, TX 77340- HYBRID

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Client requires the services of 1 Project Manager 3.
Client requires the services of a Project manager for the CAPPS Financials and Human Resources implementation project. This position will be dedicated to this project.
The core duties include project oversight, planning, project tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the project team.
Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
Direct the activities of resources in line with the business objectives of the project.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, using collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment.
Must be able to work off-hours at different phases of the project.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).

Years Required/Preferred Experience
12 Required Implementing global projects in the Information Technology industry
7 Required implementing project management within various organizations and environments
5 Required Implementing financial and/or human resources projects
5 Required Information Technology
5 Required Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
5 Preferred Government at the state or federal level
1 Preferred Texas CAPPS project implementation
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Applicant must possess:
Bachelor's degree
Preferably the applicant possess the following:
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Ability to manage project activities;
to establish project goals and objectives;
to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues;
to identify project risks and gaps;
manage multiple work streams; to communicate effectively.
This position may be filled as a remote or hybrid position but may occasionally require the contractor to work on-site.
