As a Network Engineer (Wireless), you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade wireless networks. You ll ensure optimal wireless performance, reliability, and security, supporting both wireless and switching infrastructure to drive business continuity and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise wireless networks using Aruba and Cisco technologies
- Install, configure, and maintain access points and switches; ensure seamless connectivity across all locations
- Monitor and optimize WLAN performance to achieve high availability and throughput
- Troubleshoot complex wireless issues using packet capture and RF analysis tools
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, topologies, and procedures
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to enforce wireless access control and compliance standards
- Provide technical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams on LAN/WAN implementation and support
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Required Experience (10+ years preferred):
- Wireless network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Strong expertise with Aruba and Cisco wireless infrastructure (controllers, APs, authentication mechanisms)
- WLAN protocol configuration, optimization, and management
- Enterprise-level IP network administration
- VLAN segmentation, network security, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (e.g., ClearPass)
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)
- Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
- Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prior Network Operations Center (NOC) experience
- Hands-on experience with controller-based and cloud-managed wireless platforms
- Advanced understanding of 802.11 protocols, RF design, and Ekahau
- Experience supporting warehouse or large-scale industrial wireless environments
