BMC Helix ITSM Developer

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for 2 (TWO) Helix ITSM Developers to support operational and day to day work of the BMC Helix platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Helix Digital Workplace Studio for configuring and customizing service requests, and Helix Integration Service to integrate Helix with other systems. Experience with REST API's to extend Helix functionality and enable third party integrations is also important to this role.



This is a 12 month contract with likelihood of extensions. It is a fully remote position but candidates must live and work in the 48 contiguous states during standard work hours of Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please refer to the job description for more information..

Essential Skills:




- Proficiency in BMC Helix ITSM for managing assets, incidents, problems, changes, and service requests.

- Expertise in Helix Digital Workplace Studio for configuring and customizing service requests.

- Skills in integrating Helix with other systems using Helix Integration Service (Orchestration/BAO) and REST APIs to extend Helix functionalities and enable third-party integrations.

- Working in a team environment with low direct oversight. Work is shared and aligning to standards is critical.


Plusses:




- The ability to configure Helix Digital Workplace, including creating forms and workflows.

- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the Helix platform.

- Analytical thinking to evaluate external processes and workflows.

- Proficiency in SQL queries, particularly with PostgreSQL, for data management and retrieval.
