Job Description

AeroSource PLM is looking for technical expert responsible for designing and overseeing the structure, framework and high-level design of software applications and systems. That will ensure that software solutions align with business requirements, scalability, security and long-term maintainability. Working closely with PLM's Chief Engineer and Application Architecture PM.

Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design & Architecture: Define the overall structure of software applications, including components, modules, and interactions.
2. Technology Selection: Choose appropriate programming languages, frameworks, databases, and tools to optimize performance and security.
3. Scalability & Performance: Ensure applications can handle growth, increased workloads, and high availability.
4. Security & Compliance: Design secure systems that comply with industry standards and corporate policies.
5. Integration & Interoperability: Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party services.
6. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Address complex technical challenges and improve system reliability.
7. Documentation & Communication: Maintain architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and communicate system design to stakeholders.
8. Future-Proofing Systems: Plan for emerging technologies and evolving business needs to ensure long-term system viability.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in software development and system design
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
Deep knowledge microservices and enterprise architecture
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and leadership skills

Basic Qualifications

1. Strong back ground with Linux (RHEL), Oracle, JBOSS, and distributed systems architecture.
2. Need to be able to keep up or design new system diagrams of our PLM systems.
3. Need to be keep up our Disaster Recovery Plan for PLM.
4. Need to keep up, define PLM's Architectural road map
5. Keep the ART abreast of all technical updates.
6. Continually evolving our hardware, meaning they can spec out servers, network cards etc that's needed for the Teamcenter and eQ applications to work at optimal operating capacity.
7. They need to understand and keep server certificates up to date.
8 They need to be able to research and keep system versions and applications version in sync, research and implement that latest technologies the enterprise is using to keep PLM ahead of ready.
9. Understanding the licensing we need for things like JBOSS or any new tool they choose to bring on board to better our system
10. Stay in consistent contact with the Enterprise to make sure we are compliant with our severs and software, if not submitting waivers etc..
11. Work with the security engineer
13. Define areas that can be automated/ make more e2fficient and send to our deployment team to implement.

Desired skills

1. Understanding how Teamcenter and eQ works as an applications is huge part of it as well, that will be very helpful while working on load balancing for performance tuning etc

2. Understand firewall rules and how to request/ update from that department.

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
