Job Description:
  • The Pega Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring Pega PRPC applications to support eligibility determination, enrollment, and member management.
  • The role includes hands-on development, integration with external systems, and collaboration with architects and other developers to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and configure Pega PRPC applications using best practices, ensuring adherence to guardrails and coding standards.
  • Implement workflows and case management features to support eligibility determination, enrollment, and member management.
  • Work hands-on with Pega rules, data pages, activities, decisioning, case types, and UI components (Section, Harness, Skin).
  • Translate business requirements into functional Pega rules, flows, and UI components.
  • Integrate Pega with external systems via SOAP/REST APIs, connectors, services, queues, MQ, and databases.
  • Focus on integration between BenePath and other state-owned systems (e.g., Mavro, Quadient, Azure, Move It).
  • Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring system performance and scalability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to align delivery with project goals.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Senior Developers to ensure alignment with overall solution design.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 6 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 8 years in Pega PRPC development.
  • Certified Pega CSA or CSSA.
  • Experience in eligibility and enrollment systems (e.g., Medicaid, ACA marketplace, CHIP, or government benefit programs).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega Case Management, File Listener, Job Scheduler, Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, and UI Rules.
  • Strong knowledge of BPM concepts, workflows, and case lifecycle management.
  • Ability to implement high-quality, maintainable Pega code following guardrails and best practices.
Good to Have:
  • Knowledge of eligibility rules engines and enrollment business processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments (Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Prior experience in government healthcare modernization projects.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Pega PRPC development.
  • Certified Pega CSA or CSSA.
  • Experience in eligibility and enrollment systems (e.g., Medicaid, ACA marketplace, CHIP, or government benefit programs).
