Job Opportunity: IT Support Specialist - Identity & Account Management
We're working with a client who is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, and working with a variety of technologies in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you'll provide Identity and Account Management (IAM) services for internal staff and public users of online applications. You'll also deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, manage user devices, and help ensure a seamless IT experience across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Support user accounts: Verify identities, reset passwords, unlock accounts, and guide users on self-service tools.
  • Deliver top-tier IT support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff.
  • Manage devices: Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops and desktops.
  • Fulfill service requests: Handle software installations and support requests efficiently.
  • Utilize IAM and security tools: Manage public user accounts and ensure secure access.
  • Document and escalate: Record support interactions and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work closely with supervisors and peers to maintain high service quality.

  • Security & Access: Active Directory, VPN, multi-factor authentication

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:
  • Experience providing IT support in a professional environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with identity and account management tools

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with web-based telephony systems
  • Knowledge of verifying confidential credentials
  • Familiarity with conference room technology

Work Environment

  • Hybrid role with on-site presence required at least one day per week in downtown Madison

Experience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
