Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Warren, NJ. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Port.io, including defining software catalog entities, integrating with CI/CD tools, and managing role-based access and automation.
Rate Range: $53/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and customize internal developer portals using Port.io to enhance developer experience and workflow efficiency.
- Define and manage software catalog entities, blueprints, and automations, ensuring seamless integration with tools like GitHub, GitLab, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement role-based access controls, approval workflows, and audit logging using Port.io features.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation, dashboards, and self-service capabilities for internal teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using
- Proven ability to design and implement developer portals using Port.io, including software cataloging and blueprint creation.
- Strong integration experience with tools such as GitHub, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to support internal developer platforms.
