Position: Technical Program Manager (Autonomous Systems / Cloud / Data)
Locations: Richmond | McLean, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 8–12 months + extensions

About the Role

Seeking a highly technical and execution-driven Technical Program Manager to lead complex initiatives across autonomous vehicle platforms, cloud-native systems, data integrations, and large-scale enterprise programs.


You will work with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, architecture, vehicle systems, and data) to drive delivery, establish governance, manage dependencies, and bring high-impact products to market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across hardware, software, cloud, and data teams.
  • Drive alignment with engineering, architecture, and product teams for autonomous systems or cloud/data programs.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and program tracking for milestones and budgets.
  • Lead large-scale data conversions, API-driven integrations, and cloud-native initiatives.
  • Quickly understand complex technical architectures, system designs, data flows, and operational constraints.
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure timely execution in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs effectively to executives and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate efforts across global or multi-team organizations, including vehicle integration/testing (if applicable).

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of recent Technical Program/Project Management in software, cloud, or platform engineering.
  • Strong experience with cloud-native systems, APIs, and large-scale data conversion programs.
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical architectures, system designs, and data models.
  • Proven success delivering complex programs with short release cadences.
  • Hands-on experience driving Agile processes using Jira/Confluence.
  • Exceptional communication, ownership, execution mindset, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong governance, reporting, and process improvement experience.
  • Automotive system integration, autonomous vehicle platforms, or AV testing operations.
  • Experience with global teams and cross-time-zone collaboration.
  • Background in data-driven operations and defining operational metrics.
  • Experience working with architecture/product teams in early-stage or rapidly evolving environments.
  • Experience in Collections & Recoveries domain is a plus.
