Job Details
TRN Systems is seeking qualified individuals to support a software testing effort. The qualified applicant will have demonstrated testing experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
Position Responsibilities:
- Understand system requirements to create and advise on test cases from those requirements
- Define and track test coverage of system requirements (traceability)
- Create step-by-step test scripts for test cases and define all required supporting data and documentation
- Identify issues, facilitate review of those issues with appropriate client and development team parties, enter defects as appropriate
- Execute test cases as written and determine pass/fail
- Track and manage issues and defects, ensure re-test and closure as appropriate
- Coach, train, and guide non-technical end users in the execution of system testing
Position Requirements:
- This is an onsite position. Candidate will need to go to the Jefferson City office, days a week.
- Bachelor s Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on system development projects (with SDLC)
- Minimum 3-5 years of software testing experience
- Demonstrated System & User Acceptance Testing experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint experience
- Experience working with State Government a MUST
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
