Job Details

TRN Systems is seeking qualified individuals to support a software testing effort. The qualified applicant will have demonstrated testing experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understand system requirements to create and advise on test cases from those requirements
  • Define and track test coverage of system requirements (traceability)
  • Create step-by-step test scripts for test cases and define all required supporting data and documentation
  • Identify issues, facilitate review of those issues with appropriate client and development team parties, enter defects as appropriate
  • Execute test cases as written and determine pass/fail
  • Track and manage issues and defects, ensure re-test and closure as appropriate
  • Coach, train, and guide non-technical end users in the execution of system testing

 

Position Requirements:

  • This is an onsite position. Candidate will need to go to the Jefferson City office, days a week.
  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on system development projects (with SDLC)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of software testing experience
  • Demonstrated System & User Acceptance Testing experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint experience
  • Experience working with State Government a MUST
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
