Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Technician II to join their IT Depot Team. This role is crucial for preparing and deploying computer devices to end users, ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate configuration, coordination, shipment of IT equipment, and play a vital role in the broader IT onboarding process. This position is based in Tulsa, OK and offers a dynamic work environment where technical skills and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and configure computer devices for deployment using standard imaging and setup procedures.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in the Service Management platform to track device status and user assignments.
  • Coordinate with the IT onboarding team to ensure timely and accurate logistics for device shipments to end users.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Intune and Active Directory to manage devices and user profiles efficiently.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation of IT equipment.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of deployment processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency and device reliability.

Qualifications:
  • No specific certifications required; however, CompTIA A+ or similar certifications are considered a plus.
  • 1 2 years of experience in a desktop support or IT technician role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within the IT team and with other departments.
  • Technical proficiency with Windows 11 operating systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Active Directory is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds as required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where multitasking is common.
