We re looking for a Senior Epic Systems Analyst who s ready to contribute their expertise within a world-class healthcare environment. In this role, you ll be a key partner in improving clinical and operational workflows by developing, implementing, and supporting Epic Ambulatory systems.

You ll collaborate with clinicians, IT specialists, and project teams to ensure Epic is optimized to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across Texas Children s expanding network.

What You ll Do:

  • Translate user needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
  • Analyze workflows and document as-is and to-be processes across the care continuum.
  • Configure and maintain Epic Ambulatory applications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, perform vendor analysis, and recommend best-fit solutions.
  • Support system installations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Serve as an IS representative on Integrated Delivery System (IDS) committees.

What You ll Bring:

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Required: 9+ years of experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support (may substitute with degree as follows: BS = 5 years required, MS = 3 years required).
  • Epic Ambulatory certification required and Epic Healthy Planet or Compass Rose certification strongly desired.
  • Proven experience in Epic project management and system optimization.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and data integration.
