The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of Digital Assets Team, this role will be in the Data Team within Digital Assets. The Digital Assets Data team maintains the organization's data, business intelligence tools and infrastructure. The DDA Data QA Leadwill be the point person for the QA activities related to project results for the team.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Understands Agile and relevant frameworks (e.g., scrum) to improve the success of the squad.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Agile tools, techniques, principles and values and apply this knowledge to the squad.
  • Lead QA strategy and execution for data management platforms within the Digital Assets Data team.
  • Design and implement test plans for data validation, ETL processes, and data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional squads to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the agile development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, and regression testing for data platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, and Sigma Computing.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through comprehensive test coverage and defect tracking.
  • Provide QA leadership in scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote standard processes in data testing and agile quality assurance.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuously improve QA processes by incorporating feedback, metrics, and lessons learned.

Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience as a QA lead for data platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or related experience.

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Experience in Agile Development, with Scrum Master (or similar) experience
  • Clear communicator, with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous proactivity and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on most urgent tasks & work in a fast-paced IT environment
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of system functionality to be able to engage in discussion with the squad
  • Not afraid to ask many questions, push back, or raise attention to risks or issues
  • A flexible, and proactive approach to track down resources to capture appropriate information
  • Innovative (to use variability)
  • Comfortably working closely with team management to review approaches and requirements that solve the business problem
  • Expertise in data quality assurance, including data validation, reconciliation, and profiling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with data testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma Computing.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Shell).
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git for agile project tracking and version control
  • Previous software development lifecycle experience.
  • Familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools - Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
