Client is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this
critical role, you will ensure product quality across complex PCBA and system-level manufacturing
processes, while serving as a key technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers and customers.
You will lead data-driven investigations, drive corrective actions and hold partners accountable for
meeting quality standards. A major focus of this position is ensuring flawless quality execution
during New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, partnering with engineering and operations teams
to validate manufacturability, compliance and scale-up readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead weekly Quality Summary Reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing
analysis, trends and corrective action updates.
Analyze yield data and failure analysis reports across PCBA, mechanical and system-level
processes.
Identify recurring quality issues and drive root-cause investigations with cross-functional
teams and supply-chain partners.
Ensure NPI build quality management, including first-article inspection, validation of new
processes and early detection of design or manufacturability issues.
Hold sub-tier vendors and factory teams accountable when defect trends impact customer
deliverables.
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality escalations on assigned products and
processes, demonstrating strong customer service skills in managing expectations and
providing timely resolutions.
Review and validate supplier and factory FA (Failure Analysis) reports for accuracy and
alignment with expectations.
Apply critical thinking skills to interpret complex data, evaluate risks and implement effective
solutions.
Lead or support cross-functional quality improvement initiatives, audits and process reviews.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with expertise in yield, test and defect data
analysis.
Solid understanding of SMT, PIH, test processes, and RMA repair.
In-depth knowledge of electronic theory, digital/analog circuitry and PC system
architecture.
Expertise in applying IPC-A-610D (acceptability of electronic assemblies) and J-STD-001
(JSPEC) soldering standards for complex PCBA and system assembly.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through root-cause analysis and corrective
actions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
internally and externally.
Strong customer service orientation in handing escalations and supporting client
deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in NPI quality management, including ramp-to-mass production transitions.
Experience in silicon manufacturing and testing environments.
Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes.
Professional certifications (Six Sigma, Lean, CQE, etc.).
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Multilingual ability in Mandarin, Spanish or Vietnamese are a plus.
