Healthcare Integration Architect
Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days a week)

What is in it for you?
As a Healthcare Integration Architect you'll provide architectural leadership for healthcare integration programs, drive cloud-first strategies, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and enterprise standards.
Duties:
- Design enterprise architecture for EDI/HL7 integrations, including standards, tools, and governance
- Lead modernization and migration projects on OpenShift and AWS
- Establish security, compliance, and data protection aligned with HIPAA/HiTRUST
- Define best practices for Edifecs (mappings, transactions, lifecycle)
- Work with business and clinical teams to translate needs into technical roadmaps
- Improve system reliability through resilience patterns, DR/BCP, performance, and cost optimization
Required:
- Strong knowledge of EDI, X12, HL7, Kong, EDI Gateway, Layer 7
- Hands-on experience with Edifecs (SpecBuilder, XEngine, Transaction Manager)
- Skilled in Python, Shell, and SQL
- Experience with cloud technologies in healthcare
- Understanding of ITIL v3
- Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Splunk
- Knowledge of AWS: EC2, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EBS, EKS, Batch, Lambda, RDS
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven leadership with cross-functional teams and vendor management
- Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
