Top Secret Cleared Sr. Systems Administrator

Our client, an aerospace and defense company located in Patuxent River, MD, is in need of a Top Secret cleared (SCI eligible) Sr. Systems Administrator for an initial one year contract with high likelihood of extension. The Sr. Systems Administrator will work onsite daily, joining a team, to work on the development and improvement of cutting-edge technologies used by the U.S. Military and Intelligence Communities. The Sr. Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, and administer both a physical and virtual Linux and Windows based server/client infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years' experience administering Windows-Based servers
  
• 3+ years' experience administering Linux/UNIX based servers
  
• Familiarity with PL-1 - 4 secure systems/networks
  
• Experience with SharePoint infrastructure and Internet Information Server (IIS)
  
• Experience performing software and platform integration, and technical applications testing, configuration, and deployment.
  
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS, Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
  
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (must be SCI eligible)

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in CS or similar)
  
• Experience working in an enhanced security environment
  
• Experience supporting the DOD - especially systems related to airborne radar or weapons systems
