Job Details

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation frameworks and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, along with strong functional testing knowledge to validate business processes and application workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for functional and regression testing.

  • Perform functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.

  • Work with tools such as Selenium, Java, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.

  • Create detailed test cases, test data, and ensure complete test coverage.

  • Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.

  • Ensure automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Provide test status reports and ensure timely delivery of test activities.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in functional testing and automation testing.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and BDD/Cucumber.

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be local and available onsite from day one.
