Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PHP/MySQL Programmer to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity, ideal for a candidate with a strong background in web application development and database management. If you have experience with Java programming, that would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based applications to meet business requirements.
Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within existing applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Test and deploy applications, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
Assist in integrating Java-based components, if applicable, to improve functionality.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP programming and web application development.

Strong experience with MySQL, including database design and optimization.

Familiarity with Java programming is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to write clean and maintainable code following best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with testing and deploying applications in production environments.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working in a team.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
