Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation for distributed applications across WebSphere, Unix, Windows, and containerized platforms. The ideal candidate will drive automation across on-prem and cloud environments, mentor junior team members, and ensure compliance with industry best practices in quality, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines
- Develop automation for build, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning
- Enhance production stability, monitoring, and delivery efficiency
- Administer DevOps tools and manage configurations, access, and changes
- Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness across systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally on large-scale deployments
- Document standards, procedures, and provide training to teams
- Support high-priority troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years in DevOps within Agile environments
- Strong scripting skills: Linux Shell, Python, Groovy
- Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Expertise in CI/CD tools: Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins (CloudBees), IBM UrbanCode Deploy
- Proficient with infrastructure and automation tools: Ansible, Chef, Terraform
- Familiarity with quality and security tools: SonarQube, Checkmarx, JUnit, Selenium, Perfecto
- Experience with databases: Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Advanced Linux administration skills
- Experience generating DevOps metrics and reports with PowerBI
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks
