Job Responsibilities: Identify and model risk via coding, testing, documenting, analyzing, and designing software for Charles Schwab's Model Risk Oversight team. Develop business-specific knowledge and translate business requirements to detailed functional specifications for efficient, dependable, and reliable solutions. Drive business continuous improvement and closely collaborate with the peers, while maintaining client-focus. Design software solutions according to the established acceptance criteria and programming standards. Develop code to implement solutions in a manner that is straightforward, clear, and consistent with existing software modules and in compliance with the established Systems Development Life Cycle. Determine and address root causes of production issues in timely manner. Lead infrastructure related projects with Charles Schwab's IT departments, such as server migration, moving application and data to cloud environment. Lead various implementation projects and mentor less experienced developers, and strive for ongoing, continuous improvement in the software solutions.
What you have
Job Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 60 months of experience involving the following: Designing and developing the backend for web applications that use object-oriented programming languages including C# and .Net; Designing prototype and frontend components for applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Server configuration and application deployment on Azure Cloud or IIS web Server; Relational database SQL including table design, write store procedures, triggers, and views; Agile software development utilizing Jira, Bamboo, and Bitbucket; and XML Parsing and generating Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from an XML data source.
