Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to employees. This position requires a hands-on individual who can deliver exceptional IT services while maintaining detailed records and resolving technical issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive IT desktop support to employees and customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

Respond to incoming support calls, manage the call queue, and maintain high standards of customer service.

Utilize a ticket management system to track, update, and resolve service requests in accordance with organizational guidelines.

Maintain accurate equipment records by updating asset tags and ensuring proper documentation.

Share technical expertise to support improvement initiatives and enhance IT processes.

Deliver services related to onboarding, role changes, and offboarding for employees.

Identify opportunities to improve IT procedures, share best practices, and update documentation accordingly.

Promote a positive workplace culture by demonstrating accountability, collaboration, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.

Ensure compliance with service level agreements and organizational standards in all aspects of technical support.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Citrix Workspace, and Active Directory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform under pressure.
Familiarity with multi-function printers (MFPs) and VPN technologies.
Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping.
