REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience in opto-mechanical system design
* Strong hands-on experience with precision mechatronics, GD&T, and tolerance stack analysis
* Experience in optical alignment principles, kinematic constraint, and thermal management in device design
* Familiarity with metrology tools like CMMs, OCMMs, or surface measurement instruments
* Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CREO) and design documentation standards (ASME Y14.5/ISO GPS)
* Comfortable working with statistical tools (e.g., JMP) and collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering disciplines
