Project Summary & Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to play a crucial role in our ongoing Product Management Transformation project. This initiative aims to modernize the way our DoIT@DCFS team delivers technical solutions, services, and capabilities to our customers. The Senior Business Architect will provide business process design and architectural expertise to ensure that Dynamics 365 solutions align with organizational goals and integrate smoothly with existing systems and processes.
As a Senior Business Architect, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, translating these into functional Dynamics 365 architecture. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation and drive the overall vision for integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 into the organization's business processes.
Job Responsibilities:

Business Process Design: Lead the analysis and design of business processes across various functions, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities.

Architecture Planning: Define and maintain architectural frameworks for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with existing systems.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into Dynamics 365 functional specifications.

Solution Blueprint: Create and maintain the solution blueprint, ensuring consistency with business objectives and project goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, product owners, and functional teams to ensure that Dynamics 365 solutions meet business needs and drive organizational efficiency.

System Integration: Oversee the integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, third-party systems) to ensure a seamless user experience.

Best Practices & Governance: Establish and promote best practices for Dynamics 365 architecture, including data governance, security protocols, and system performance optimization.

Change Management: Provide guidance on organizational change management and user adoption strategies for Dynamics 365 solutions.

Project Leadership: Serve as the architectural lead on large-scale Dynamics 365 implementations, guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Risk Management: Identify potential architectural risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise: Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP and CRM solutions), including customization, configuration, and integration with enterprise systems.

Business Process Mapping: Strong skills in business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering, with the ability to translate business needs into technical architecture.

Solution Architecture: Experience developing solution architectures for large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, focusing on scalability, security, and integration.

Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with senior leadership, gather input, and effectively communicate business process and system changes.

Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with project managers, developers, and business analysts.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks, enabling seamless collaboration with Scrum teams.

Technical Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and other relevant tools to manage solution architecture and ensure successful implementation.
Beneficial Skills (But Not Required):

Data Governance & Compliance: Understanding of data governance, regulatory compliance, and security best practices in Dynamics 365 implementations.

Azure DevOps & Jira: Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and Microsoft Teams for project management, tracking, and reporting.

Transformation Experience: Previous experience working on large-scale business transformation initiatives, particularly with call center software and other customer-facing solutions.

Metrics & Reporting: Ability to track architectural performance and use metrics to refine and optimize system integrations and processes.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect, or TOGAF certification.
