Overview:
Our East Coast client is seeking an experienced Cerner PharmNet Analyst for a 6+ month contracting opportunity supporting ongoing pharmacy system initiatives. This role will focus on Cerner Millennium PharmNet configuration, maintenance, and optimization within a large healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide build, support, and troubleshooting within Cerner PharmNet, including medication order workflows, formulary management, and pharmacy configuration
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to design and validate medication ordering and dispensing workflows
- Support integration of pharmacy devices and systems (e.g., infusion pumps, dispensing cabinets) using HL7 or FHIR standards
- Perform testing, validation, and documentation for new build and system updates
- Partner with informatics, nursing, and pharmacy teams to improve medication safety and system usability
- Participate in change management and release planning processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Cerner PharmNet build and support experience
- Strong understanding of medication management workflows and pharmacy operations
- Experience with device integration (e.g., BD Pyxis, Omnicell, Alaris pumps) preferred
- Epic Willow experience strongly desired but not required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- PharmD or clinical pharmacy background a plus
