Job Details

FishEye Software is seeking highly motivated Radar Operators to join our team supporting the Missile Defense Agency Sensors Test Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our HWIL radar systems to support real-time, real-world Warfighter missions. This position required an Active DOD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily stand-alone tests of radar systems, including operating test equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and analyzing test results to ensure system performance meets specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and system configuration.
  • Support Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) lab testing at the Advanced Research Center (ARC)
  • Complete accurate and timely as-run reports and observations, documenting system performance, anomalies, and operational issues.
  • Review and update engineering procedures, standards, and requirements as needed to improve system performance, ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and support evolving mission needs.

Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in radar systems, operation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered; responsibilities will be aligned with the individual's qualifications and background.
  • Understanding of the Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System (MDA BMDS) including knowledge of its architecture, capabilities, and operational principles.
  • Proficiency in UNIX and Linux operating systems, including strong command line skills and experience with system administration tasks such as user management, file systems, and network configuration.
  • Familiarity with common Windows applications, such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic file management tools.
  • This position requires up to 25% travel, which may include both CONOCONUS locations to support mission requirements.

Desired:
  • Experience with BMDS testing, analysis, or development.
