Job Title: Common Lives Project
Location: United States only (Excluding: Illinois, Texas, Washington, New York, Colorado, California, Oregon, Quebec, Kentucky, South Carolina)
Duration : 2+ Weeks (5 recording days within a 2-week period)

Job Description :
Participants will wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to record daily indoor activities for AI research on human behavior, activity recognition, and social context understanding. The footage will help train next-generation AI systems.
Job Titles / Suitable Roles:
Open to individuals in manual, creative, or technical indoor roles, including but not limited to:
Creative professionals: Artists, Musicians, Fashion designers, Craft artists, Sound technicians
Technical & skilled trades: Electricians, Carpenters, Mechanics, Builders, Metal workers, Maintenance technicians
Culinary & food-related roles: Chefs, Bakers, Food preparation staff (non-customer facing)
Scientific/technical roles: Lab technicians, Food scientists, Architects, Designers, Engineers
Others: Janitors, Landscapers, Tailors, Gardeners, Animal trainers, Sports coaches, Shoemakers, Product repair workers
Essentially, anyone working indoors in a non-customer-facing role with manual or creative job elements.
Expertise Required:
- Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record at work.
- Should be comfortable using computers for uploading and reviewing video clips.
- No prior GoPro or recording experience required training provided.
- Must have a private indoor workspace with no minors (under 18) present.
- Basic technical literacy (file upload, reviewing short clips, internet access).
Nature of Engagement:
- Freelance / Independent Contractor basis.
- Short-term, flexible, and part-time not a full-time employment role.
- Participants record their own daily life and work, not external tasks.
- Purpose of the Project:
- To collect real-world visual data that supports AI perception, social behavior, and environmental understanding helping to advance human-centered AI research.
Ideal Candidates:
- Indoor workers in manual or creative professions.
- Adults living in households with no minors.
- Individuals or pairs from the same household (both can participate and get paid separately).
- People interested in contributing to AI development and research initiatives.
