Overview of the department:
The Senior Engineer will play a critical role in supporting NHPP's ongoing growth and modernization efforts. This position focuses on helping practices transition from legacy environments to enterprise-supported applications, providing technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and vendor coordination throughout the process. The Senior Engineer will actively support key technical projects across NHPP, serving as a lead for practice expansions, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
In addition, this role will provide continued support for the core technical teams sustaining Orlin & Cohen operations, stepping in for advanced troubleshooting and escalated problem resolution. As NHPP continues to onboard new practices, this position will manage and maintain any remaining legacy systems that fall outside enterprise team ownership, ensuring operational stability through each phase of the M&A lifecycle. The Senior Engineer will also act as a strategic resource for cross-functional technical challenges, helping prevent gaps in support and minimizing any disruption to patient care or daily clinical operations.

- 10 years of experience in managing highly complex systems navigating
- Hands on senior engineer with experience in complex architecture
- Communicates complex technical topics in a clear and actionable way for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing technical support and vendor relationships
- Ability to travel onsite to tri state Northwell locations as required for project collaborations and technical support

Job Responsibility
- Guides the infrastructure system analysis, definition, verification, and validation to ensure the evolving systems meet the requirements for the organization, including weekly review and monitoring of capacity and performance reports. Attends architectural review board meetings to ensure standards and the appropriate technical solutions are implemented. Manages ticket queues to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, ensuring Service Level Agreements are met. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, required.
