Job Description
Workday Center of Excellence (CoE) Delivery Lead
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Workday CoE Delivery Lead to establish and manage a high-performing offshore Workday delivery team. This leadership role is pivotal in building scalable delivery capabilities, ensuring excellence in implementation and support, and aligning offshore operations with the U.S.Bank Workday strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Delivery Management
Establish and lead the offshore Workday CoE team, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of Workday implementations, enhancements, integrations, and support services.
Collaborate closely with onshore stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
Define and enforce delivery best practices, governance frameworks, and configuration standards.
Ensure adherence to Workday methodology and client-specific compliance requirements.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and automation across delivery processes.
Serve as the primary escalation point for offshore delivery issues and risks.
Strategic & Technical Initiatives
Enhance Integration, Automation, and Monitoring.
Strengthen Security, Compliance, and System Health.
Establish and manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes for offshore delivery to ensure structured change management and risk mitigation..
Drive adoption of new Workday features and coordinate release readiness across offshore and onshore teams..
Collaborate with vendors and partners to enforce architectural best practices and ensure scalable, secure solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to six years of relevant experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of Workday HCM, Finance, or Payroll modules.
Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PICOF, and Workday Extend is a plus.
Proficiency in Workday Reporting, Security, and Business Process configuration.
Strong understanding of integration architecture, data migration, and tenant management.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Leadership & Delivery Excellence
Proven track record in leading offshore delivery teams, preferably within a CoE or shared services model.
Strong Agile project management skills, with experience in scaled Agile environments.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
Experience in defining and tracking delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certifications in relevant modules.
10+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in Workday delivery.
Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
