Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Scrum Master to lead the technical workstream of a large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation. This role will guide cross-functional teams through Agile delivery, coordinate technical activities, and ensure alignment with the broader SAP ecosystem—including integration points with S/4HANA, which is why prior S/4 implementation experience is required.
This is a remote-first position with occasional paid travel to Harrisburg, PA for key workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum & Agile Delivery Leadership
• Lead all Scrum ceremonies for the SuccessFactors technical team: sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and ensure consistent adherence to Scrum best practices.
• Track and manage sprint progress, velocity, impediments, and risks.
• Maintain transparent reporting to the PMO and program leadership.
SuccessFactors Technical Workstream Management
• Coordinate technical activities across SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, LMS).
• Partner with technical leads on integrations, middleware, data migration, security, and environment readiness.
• Support planning and execution of testing cycles, cutover activities, and deployment readiness.
• Ensure alignment with functional teams, HR stakeholders, and enterprise architecture.
Cross-Program Alignment (S/4HANA)
• Leverage prior S/4 implementation experience to manage dependencies between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
• Facilitate collaboration between HRIS, SAP Basis, integration teams, and business process owners.
• Ensure technical designs and integrations follow program standards and governance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Provide clear, consistent communication to leadership, HR stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Support roadmap planning, release planning, and milestone tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement across the team and foster a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience supporting or leading SAP SuccessFactors technical workstreams (integrations, data migration, security, middleware, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HR systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proven ability to manage distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to start immediately or with minimal notice.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Background in HR transformation programs or cloud HR platforms.
• Familiarity with hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models used in ERP programs.
