Job Description:

Finance Transformation for the global end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Finance. This role will be responsible for managing collaboration among cross-functional teams, coordinating and directing global Subject Matter Experts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering the program on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SAP implementations, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive a significant finance transformation.

The position requires strong collaboration, extensive financial and accounting acumen, willingness to challenge the status quo, communication skills, sense of urgency, ability to execute, strong leadership, executive presence and change management skills.

Function:

Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of the SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation program across multiple workstreams encompassing Record to report, Procure to Pay (indirect), Order to cash, Financial Planning & Analysis and Audit & Controls

  • Act as a leader in S4 HANA Program Governance by collaborating and influencing Finance, IT, and System integrator partners to ensure agreement and alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables. In addition, this role will keep the executive team informed as part of the steering committee
  • Responsible for initiating and overseeing the major transformational areas of the implementation including, but not limited to, RAR revenue recognition, Profit center reporting, New General Ledger (from Classic) Reporting and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • Manage a global team over 20 SME's in Order to cash, Procure to pay, Record to report, FP&A, Audit/Controls and Reporting to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements (including required country localizations) and drive appropriate program resourcing for finance
  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks and issues. Driving the appropriate leadership discussions to achieve desired program outcomes
  • Acts as a focal point to support enabling workstreams (organizational change management, testing, data conversion, security, etc.) for Finance. Aligning program plans, assigning resources, and resolving issues.
  • Acts as a focal point for 20+ legacy Finance applications to coordinate key design decisions, program plans, resourcing, etc. to ensure all perimeter applications are ready for Day 1 Go-Live

Manage key relationships with Finance leadership team

  • Leads discussions and drives alignment related to Key Design Decisions
  • Balances business priorities related to scope, budget and resourcing for S4 HANA
  • Advocates for S4 HANA program as part of broader change control for Finance to balance 2026 AOP requests with S4 HANA needs.

Partners cross functionally with Commercial and Global Operations leaders to ensure alignment of program goals and core processes.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations
  • Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Revenue Recognition)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet and PowerPoint
  • PMP certification
  • Understanding of data migration, integration, and reporting strategies in S/4HANA
  • Experience in global rollouts or multi-entity implementation
  • Conversant in Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Ability to analyze and address complex business situations and recommend solutions
  • Ability to present complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Ability to adjust approach and leverage creative thinking based on data availability
  • Operates with integrity, transparency, and humility

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred
