Job Description:

IT Field Technician

Location: Fort Myers, FL - this is a field tech role and candidates should have reliable transportation (daily driving up to about 75/miles a day)

Duration: 3-6 month contract to hire

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM, some possible OT and rotating on-call weekend work

Pay: $18-21/hr + mileage reimbursement

Position Summary:
  • Strong hardware break-fix experience.
  • Large Format printer experience.
  • LaserJet break fix experience.
  • Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's)
  • Technician will travel to each client's location
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
  • Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly)

Basic Needs/Haves
  • Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
  • Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines)
  • Laptop
  • Basic Hand Tools
  • Possess a valid driver's license Preferred

Desired Skills/Certifications
  • CompTIA A+ OEM Printer Warranty Certifications
  • OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications
  • Server experience would be a bonus
