Position Title: Oracle PPM Consultant / Integration Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Consultant / Integration Specialist to support our client s ongoing migration and integration initiatives. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration of Oracle PPM with Oracle Fusion HCM, Microsoft Finance (Dynamics 365), and other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong functional knowledge of Oracle PPM modules along with hands-on expertise in API development and middleware integration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Oracle PPM module implementation, configuration, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand project/financial portfolio management needs.
Design and implement integrations between Oracle PPM, Oracle Fusion HCM, and Microsoft Finance systems.
Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for project and financial data exchange.
Work with middleware platforms (Oracle Integration Cloud, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, etc.) or support custom API-based integrations.
Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance during integration workflows.
Provide expertise on Oracle PPM functionalities such as Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Grants Management, and Resource Management.
Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and optimize system performance.
Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to align project financials and reporting requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in Oracle PPM Cloud.
Strong functional expertise in Oracle PPM modules (Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Resource Management).
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud REST APIs and web services (SOAP/REST).
Proven track record of integrating Oracle PPM with external finance systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance preferred).
Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).
Strong understanding of financial data models, reconciliation processes, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data validation and error handling.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT).
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Cloud certifications in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or ERP Financials.
Experience in healthcare industry or handling HIPAA/data compliance requirements.
Exposure to ADP Payroll integrations is a plus.
Project Management or PMO experience supporting Oracle ERP/PPM projects.
