Job Description

CDM Smith delivers advanced solutions that enable the U.S. government - civilian and military - to protect lives, communities, and the environment. We have served the federal government since our founding more than 70 years ago, helping to address some of the nation's highest-priority needs: revitalization of aging facilities and infrastructure, restoration of contaminated lands and waterways, redeployment of our armed forces, and enhanced preparedness for natural and manmade hazards - from coast to coast, Alaska to Puerto Rico, Germany to Afghanistan, and Djibouti to Guam.

**We are open to this position working hybrid or in the office 5 days a week.**

Our CDM Smith team provides production and technical services to the US Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency for their Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) program. This program provides communities with flood hazard data and risk assessment tools in support of driving communities to take action to reduce natural hazard risks and improve overall community resiliency.

Overview of position:
Under moderate supervision, provides dedicated administrative support to the project manager and team executing activities under the FEMA Risk MAP contract.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides advanced subject matter expertise in support of operations and business development with a focus on Federal Government Contracting compliance, contract risk reviews and contract claims support. Maintains expert level competencies and up to date knowledge of applicable law and federal guidelines including but not limited to FARS.
Prepares project correspondence from basic to moderately complex and/or confidential source materials and proofreads for accuracy. Compiles and computes project data from various sources of a basic to moderately complex nature for staff review and action. Prepares project presentations as required.
Prepares, reviews, and transmits documents to Federal, state, and local stakeholders.
Assist with submitting and obtaining vendor pricing as needed.
Schedules and coordinates project activities.
Serve as a liaison between subcontractors/vendors, accounting, and procurement, as necessary to process project invoices.
Work with project managers and management team to resolve issues that arise with projects or clients.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
3 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to interact with varying levels of staff, as well as vendors.
Good personal computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe or Bluebeam.
Good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
Good ability to deal with many people and process a large volume of requests.
