Job Details

Position: Database Developer (MySQL) ---- Need & GC Candidates Location: Plano, TX or Alpharetta, GA----Locals would be preferred

F2F interview Mandatory

Key Requirements:

5+ years experience in database/application development
Strong hands-on MySQL development (Oracle PL/SQL also considered)
Experience with Azure MySQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB API a plus
Strong in performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design
Experience in cloud or hybrid environments, preferably Azure

Responsibilities Overview:

Design and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and SQL scripts
Optimize and scale MySQL databases (cloud and on-premise)
Support schema design and data modeling

Tune queries, indexing strategies, and execution plans
Proactively monitor and resolve database performance issues

Partner with developers, DevOps, and analytics teams
Provide database troubleshooting and production support

Implement access control, encryption, and logging
Ensure compliance with data governance standards

Qualifications:

Strong SQL & database development skills (MySQL / Oracle)
Experience with Azure MySQL and Cosmos DB preferred
Deep understanding of data modeling, normalization, indexing, and query optimization
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for databases
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Certifications: MySQL, MongoDB
Experience with Azure Cosmos DB + MongoDB API
Familiarity with cloud-first architecture
