Senior Developer (Dev Anchor)

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (Dev Anchor) to provide software modernization support to the U.S. Coast Guard s Systems and Application Management Support Office (SAMSO) under NIWC Pacific. This position will help lead the modernization of legacy Coast Guard applications and systems by performing early discovery work assessing existing environments, determining technical feasibility, and defining modernization paths.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), guiding architectural decisions, integrating COTS products, mentoring developers, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions. This position is fully remote.

Experience:

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience with proficiency in [e.g., React/TypeScript, Python/Django, Node.js].
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD)
• Experience with government or enterprise-level security standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead the technical integration of COTS products into a larger system architecture.
• Experience with Low Code/No code development and integration i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft, Strong preference for an Appian certified developer.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

• Demonstrated experience as a technical leader or team lead, guiding architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Skilled in establishing and enforcing code quality standards and leading effective code reviews.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers.

Agile & Project Management:

• In-depth experience with Agile methodologies, specifically the Scrum framework.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate product vision into actionable technical tasks in partnership with a Product Manager and Product Designer.
