Location- New York, NY- Hybrid Onsite

Contract- 12+ months


Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Techno-Functional Developer to join our Enterprise Engineering Team. This role demands over 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft development, particularly within the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) suite. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical financial applications, ensuring both project work and ongoing operations are seamlessly supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • PeopleSoft FSCM Modules: Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Project Costing, and Billing.
  • Development: Write and optimize PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQRs, BI Publisher reports, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker services.
  • Full Application Lifecycle: Support requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Upgrade Management: Conduct impact analysis and retrofitting during PeopleTools and FSCM application upgrades.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both production and development environments.
  • Collaboration: Partner with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, technical solutions.
  • Data Integration: Participate in data conversion, integration development, and configuration of interfaces with external systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal development standards, security policies, and SOX/financial audit requirements.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user training materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience, with at least 7 years in FSCM modules.
  • PeopleTools Expertise: Proficient in PeopleTools 8.5x+, including PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface, SQR, and Integration Broker.
  • Financial Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of core financial processes and data structures in GL, AP, AR, AM, PC, and BI modules.
  • PeopleSoft Upgrades: Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patching, and retrofitting.
  • SQL & PL/SQL: Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical specification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluid UI: Experience with Fluid UI, Pivot Grids, and WorkCenters.
  • Automated Testing: Familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) or other automated testing tools.
  • API Integrations: Experience integrating PeopleSoft with external ERP or financial systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Cloud Exposure: Exposure to PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
