Job Details

Job Title: Network Administrator 1 Location: Austin, TX 78701

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and support our network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and internet systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems, while providing technical support and maintaining documentation for audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Administer Windows Server environments (2012+) and Active Directory.

Manage Microsoft 365 services (user accounts, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint).

Configure and support core network services: DHCP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP.

Install and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.

Administer Meraki wireless and LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Monitor network performance using PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine.

Support VoIP systems and document/imaging technologies.

Perform system updates, backups, capacity planning, and tuning.

Provide user training and technical support.

Prepare network documentation and support audit requirements.

Ensure compliance with IT security standards and provide regular reporting.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in network administration/support.

Experience with Microsoft server environments, Microsoft 365, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

Hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki equipment and VoIP systems.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in compliance-driven IT environments.

Strong understanding of Active Directory, TCP/IP, GPOs, and automation tools.

Proven ability to manage and support imaging systems and telecom infrastructure.

Proficiency in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Other Requirements
Weekly work progress reporting and system documentation.

After-hours support as needed.

Must pass a criminal history check and complete IT Security training.
